My name is Kevin Soto Marquez.  I was born in Sonora, Mexico and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was 11 years old.  I am proud to say that I am the first generation in my family to graduate from college and complete a Master’s degree.   I have over three years of experience working in different roles in the mental health community including providing individual, family, and group therapy for adults and adolescents; case management; and behavioral coaching with children and adolescents and their families.  I enjoy helping individuals and families overcome their unique adversities through a collaborative counseling relationship.

As a professional counselor, I believe not a single person should go through difficult situations alone.   I often work with people who have experienced trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and family/relationship problems.  I often work with members of the LGBTQ+ community.  I am here to offer you support in times of crisis, understand your needs, and discover real solutions together.  I am committed to helping the people I work with live their best life ever.

My Education:

- Master of Science in Professional Counseling, Grand Canyon University, 2022

- Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development, Arizona State University, 2018.
